PRODUCT NOTES

Plan external power around your actual Mini

Start with the hardware you own and a tested energy plan, rather than future-product speculation.

Use published product information

Choose a power setup for the exact terminal and accessories you own. Check their published requirements and operating instructions before comparing battery options.

Reports or speculation about future hardware do not establish the compatibility or runtime of your current setup. This guide makes no claim about an unreleased Starlink product.

Match energy to the session

List the hours you need online and any additional devices sharing the source. Test a representative workload and keep a practical reserve.

MK-1 provides 189Wh of rated energy. Internal testing supports approximately 5โ€“8 hours of Mini runtime, with actual results depending on use, settings and conditions.

Consider deployment as well as capacity

The power source, cable, mounting connection and position all contribute to the setup. Choose a place with suitable sky view and a stable surface, then inspect the cable route.

MK-1 combines a dedicated Mini DC output with a telescopic tripod. Follow the installation sequence and use the intended adapter and cable.

Compare a complete system

Look at usable runtime, output compatibility, weight, charging access and the accessories you need to carry. Include the terminal and service plan as separate items.

The most useful comparison is a test of the complete setup under your expected workload, not a capacity number or a prediction about future hardware.
