SERVICE & READINESS

Prepare Starlink Mini for seasonal use

Check account options and test your equipment before the next trip.

Check the options in your account

Starlink’s pause guidance describes Standby Mode, with availability and terms depending on the service and account. Review your own account before confirming a change.

Check the effective date, charges, destination coverage and permitted use. Read Starlink’s guidance on pausing service and the terms displayed for your service line.

Prepare before departure

Confirm service access while you still have another internet connection. Charge your equipment and inspect the cable, mounting parts and connectors after storage.

Run the complete setup before packing. Check the terminal’s app status, the power connection and the workload you expect to use.

Match power to the trip

A short weekend check and a full remote-work day have different energy requirements. Include all devices sharing the source and decide where you can recharge.

MK-1 has 189Wh of rated energy and approximately 5–8 hours of Mini runtime based on internal testing. This is a reference range, not a guaranteed session length.

Store with the next use in mind

Follow each product’s storage and charging instructions. Keep parts together and inspect them again before returning the setup to use.

A service change does not maintain the battery, repair a cable or verify the next destination’s requirements. Treat account readiness and equipment readiness as two separate checks.
